Janae Chang is the founder of Raw Beauty. She creates her naturally inspired products in Northern Scottsdale, Arizona with gorgeous panoramic mountain views, deep green plant life and the beauty of nature’s wildlife. Feeling blessed to have views of natural surroundings that are untouched and innocent, makes her warehouse an inspiring setting to create fabulous bath and beauty products.  

For Centuries around the World, people made beauty enhancements in their own homes. They would create products using only raw materials, mostly from plants and animals. Over the years our society became more technologically advanced and the beauty industry boomed by creating Billion Dollar Companies. Most of the natural innocence in the beauty industry has been lost. Corporate Companies have created a demand in the public for beauty products that promise a synthetic cure-all for everything, using huge warehouses that spit out mass quantities of synthetically filled bottles. Good, wholesome, natural ingredients are slowly fading away from being in our beauty products.  

The whole idea behind Raw Beauty stemmed from Janae’s love for cooking and baking. She ventured on to culinary school to gain more knowledge in the industry, knowing that she could perfect her passion. Janae would create home cooked meals from scratch and warm bakery delights for dessert. After cleaning up the mess in her kitchen, she would light a candle or two. Lighting candles always symbolized her house was clean and it was time to relax in the bath by candle light.

Janae began to realize that she could create fun, fresh, yummy treats for the body and mind inspired by her love for creating food. Janae’s main goal was to establish superior, handmade beauty products by using raw ingredients. Her second goal was to ensure that the products looked and smelled spicy, exciting, sweet, and sultry. She also highly desired to incorporate her style and creativity into making fun and hip packaging. Janae initially began working effortlessly in her kitchen until she designed the perfect product every time. Raw Beauty was born, after dedicated years of research, education, perfection, passion, love and knowledge.
