We proudly use Café Campesino's (A Fair Trade Company) Organic Darjeeling Tea in this sugar scrub. Organic Darjeeling Green Tea is organically grown in India.

Ground Basmati Rice is added for additional help to gently exfoliate dead skin cells. Green Tea Extract and an extra shot of Caffeine Powder will give your skin a real jolt of energy.

Treatment of Green Tea polyphenols to skin has been shown to have a beneficial effect on aiding with skin inflammation, cell proliferation and chemical tumour promoters. These results have been confirmed in a human model, where topical application of Green Tea polyphenols protected against UV light induced DNA damage.

Caffeine has also been found to be an effective antioxidant, scavenging OH radicals, thus producing another mechanism for its anticancer properties.

Fragrance is called Basmati Rice, which is a blend of peach, strawberry and lemon, beguiling rose, lily of the valley, powder, cedarwood, spice and creamy vanilla.
